NEASC Showcase 2025

Learn how the Monadnock Regional School district aligned writing and reading rubrics for kindergarten through sixth grade to support the seventh to twelfth grade writing rubrics and curriculum. The purpose is to prepare all students for their aspirations of higher education, a career, the military or other goals, and learn how to write well developed argumentative research papers. The implementation of this system supports future ready learners and evaluates developing students' skills and confidence, so they can demonstrate competency and mastery of skills that reach beyond the English language arts classroom. Participants will learn a process to implement and support students' capacity to research and vet resources, analyze, synthesize information to construct their writing for understanding and learning, and improve writing scores. Participants are encouraged to bring writing samples and rubrics to share and discuss.
